Shishir Dhakal

Shishir Dhakal founder of Mount Elegance Treks and Expedition has been actively involved in the hospitality industry since 2018. Born on February 26, 2001 in Masel, Gorkha — a district famed for the brave Gurkhas and the majestic Mt. Manaslu. He graduated from Tribhuvan University with a bachelor degree in Travel and Tourism Management and initially started his career as a manager at his father’s hotel.
During his 6 years experience, knowledge in the hospitality industry, he focused on providing the best possible facility to customers and focused on customer satisfaction. The main motive of Dhakal is to revitalize and enhance his father's company and make utilization of his knowledge in the trekking industry gained over more than 15 years. Having explored various trekking routes of Nepal like Everest, Langtang , Annapurna , Manaslu etc. He recognizes that many trekking companies don't focus on customer satisfaction and are not providing services as required by the Guest. So, to fill the gap and to promote tourism in Nepal, Mr.Dhakal established a company dedicated to creating memorable and top-quality trekking experiences, ensuring every guest leaves with lifelong memories

A renowned figure in Nepal's tourism sector of Nepal , Krishna Prasad Dhakal began his career as a hotel manager in 1995. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Nepal Jang Treks and Expedition in 2006, which was known as Nepal Jang Treks and Expedition. However, the devastating earthquake in Nepal in 2015 affected the trekking industry, leading Krishna Prasad to diversify his business by opening Hotel Thamel Park in Kathmandu in 2016.
With over 15 years of experience in the tourism industry, Krishna Prasad’s vision for Mount Elegance is to utilize his expertise and ensure the company operates effectively. His dedication to customer satisfaction and his wealth of experience make him a key player in the company’s success. Together with Shishir, Krishna Prasad aims to lead Mount Elegance Treks and Expedition to the forefront of Nepal’s tourism industry, providing guests with unparalleled trekking experiences while fostering sustainable tourism practices.

Dil Bahadur Magar hails proudly from Solukhumbu District, nestled in the heart of Nepal’s Everest region. Growing up in this breathtaking Himalayan landscape, he developed a deep passion for the mountains and trekking from an early age. His close connection with the region and its culture naturally led him into the tourism industry.
With over 25 years of experience in Nepal’s trekking and tourism sector since 1998, Dil Bahadur has guided countless trekkers through some of the country’s most iconic and remote trails — including Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, Manaslu, and Mustang.
Since 2015, he has been a valued senior trekking guide with Mount Elegance Treks & Expedition, where he is known for his dedication, professionalism, and in-depth knowledge of Nepal’s diverse landscapes and cultures. He is fully certified by the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM) under the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation.
