Welcome to Mount Elegance Treks and Expedition! We are a reputed and credible, officially certified trekking company in Nepal, dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. Our primary goal is to ensure your satisfaction by offering safe and memorable travel experiences. Please carefully review the following terms and conditions before booking your trip with us. These terms apply from the moment you make your booking.

General Booking Conditions

For all tours and treks in Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan, a photocopy of your passport and a deposit of 20% of the total trip cost is required at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable and will be considered a cancellation fee if you choose to cancel your trip at any point after booking. The remaining balance can be paid before the trek via credit card or bank transfer, with bank details provided upon request. To avoid a 4% surcharge, it is recommended to pay the balance in cash.

Note: For tours to Bhutan and Tibet, the remaining balance must be paid 20 days before your departure if you are flying directly to these countries. We reserve the right to cancel your trip if full payment is not received within the specified time.

• Please note that all bank service charges associated with wire transfers are the responsibility of the client.
• Credit Card: Payments by credit card are quick, easy, and secure. A processing fee of  3.5% will be applied for all credit card payments.

Last-Minute Bookings

We accept last-minute bookings for trips to Nepal up to 3 days before the departure date. However, last-minute bookings may not be possible for tours in Bhutan or Tibet.

Trip Postponement

If you need to postpone your trip, please notify us in writing. Due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19, you may postpone your trip at no additional charge. You can select new dates that are convenient for you, and we will accommodate your travel plans accordingly.

Cancellation Policy

If you decide to cancel your trip, the 20% deposit made at the time of booking will serve as the cancellation fee and is non-refundable. If you have made payments beyond this deposit, the balance will be refunded to you, minus the deposit amount.

Risk and Liabilities

All tours to Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan are conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations set by the tourism authorities of each country. Mount Elegance Treks and Expedition is not liable for changes or cancellations due to unavoidable circumstances, such as government restrictions, natural disasters, political instability, or flight cancellations. Any additional costs incurred due to these circumstances must be borne by the client. We highly recommend comprehensive travel insurance.

Incomplete Tours

Mount Elegance Treks and Expedition does not offer refunds for any incomplete tours, treks, or expeditions due to personal reasons or circumstances beyond our control.

Unforeseen Circumstances

If your trip is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances like natural disasters or political unrest, we will help arrange an alternative trip for you. Your money will be used towards this new arrangement.

Travel Insurance

It is mandatory for all clients to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical expenses, personal accidents, emergency evacuations, trip cancellations, theft, and damage or loss of personal belongings.

Flight Delays and Cancellations

Flights to remote areas in Nepal, particularly in regions like Everest, Annapurna, Dolpo, Simikot, and Jumla, are often subject to weather-related delays or cancellations. We advise you to budget for additional expenses, such as food and accommodation, in case of delays. Mount Elegance Treks and Expedition is not responsible for any additional costs incurred due to such delays.

Conduct During Tours

If you engage in any unlawful activities during your trip, Mount Elegance Treks and Expedition  is not liable for any refunds or additional expenses incurred due to your actions.

Disclaimer

These terms and conditions apply only to bookings made directly with Mount Elegance Treks and Expedition. If you book through a third party or agent, their terms and conditions will apply.
